Calabria, 2022 - on going
For a couple of years now, during the summer, I spend a few weeks in my birth region, Calabria. It's a complicated and complex land that I had never photographed before. Summer vacations have become a pretext to discover its linguistic minorities, the abandoned villages turned into real ghost towns, and the superstitious rituals that are still deeply felt in the inland areas. The project is still a work in progress.
